Finding Practical and Economical Solutions

The HOTRODE is a compact Electrostatic Energizer utilized as an efficient and economical means for imparting an electrostactic field inside of oil dehydration vessels.
A single high voltage electrode is used to create an electrostatic field through which the oil flows in a downward direction.
Water droplets entrained in the oil will be coalesced within the electrostactic field. The coalesced water drops will separate from the oil much faster.

  • Readily adaptable to NATCO VFH Horizontal Heater Treaters to improve processing performance. The HOTRODE is placed on the vessel centerline in the "surge" chamber below the oil level controller.
  • A further improvement to the NATCO VFH Treater is the conversion from vertical flow to horizontal flow in the rear settling compartment.
