The FUELSAVER hex enhancer is a device for facilitating heat exchange on "U" tube fireboxes through increasing the heat exchange surface area and the overall "U" factor. The FUELSAVER hex enhancer is a multi-tube segment installed on the stack side of the firebox. It more than doubles the heat exchange surface area, increases the flow velocity and brings the hot gases into more intimate contact with the heat exchange surface. The addition of the FUELSAVER hex enhancer on a "U" tube firebox has been known to reduce the fuel consumption of the unit by more than twenty five percent.
